Following the foresight principles – action-oriented, participatory approach, multiple perspectives and systematic exploration – the FYI-R toolbox combines four components that will serve as a guiding framework for the co-development process and pilot implementation across the 14 countries through their national contact points. This centrality of the context and the integration of local knowledge, assigning the management of the implementation process to national points, reduces the risks of failing to connect future trends with national/local conditions in the forecasting process.
